Licensed Child Care

The YMCA provides child care in three different locations. All of our facilities are Keystone Stars Level 2. We provide a safe and secure environment in which children can develop to their fullest potential.

Beaver County YMCA Child Care Center

Child Care is provided year round at the YMCA facility for children six (6) weeks through the completion of 12 years of age. Breakfast and a PM snack are provided.

Hopewell Memorial Jr. H.S. Before and After School Care Program

Care is provided for children in Kindergarten through age 12. The program opens at 6:30 a.m. The children are dismissed to their buses at 8:10 a.m. We return at 2:45 p.m. in the afternoon and remain open until 6 p.m. An afternoon snack is provided. Hopewell Memorial Jr. High School is a Star 2. This program operates during the school year only. Child Care is available at the YMCA for school holidays and snow days for a nominal fee.

NNDS/Building Blocks Learning Center

NNDS/Building Blocks Learning Center Before and after school child care is provided for NNDS kindergarten students. Our program is located in the gymnasium and runs from 6:30-8:30 a.m. The students will then be dismissed to their teachers. Students will return with their teachers at 2:45 p.m. and we remain open until 6:00 p.m. This program is licensed and operates during the school year only. Child care is available at the Y on school holidays an closings for a nominal fee.

Emergency Child Care

Child care is available for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years of age on an emergency basis. The emergency child care allows 36 visits in a 12 month period. An appointment will be required to complete the necessary paperwork. Care will be available upon completion of paperwork; 24 hour notice is needed for care.
